Worcester Writers’ Circle (WWC or The Circle) is an enthusiastic group who enjoy writing for pleasure and publication. Some of us are beginners, and waiting for our big break, others are experienced professionals who have had their work published.
WWC was established in 1941 and is the longest continuously active writers’ group in the country.
Novelist Caroline Graham is our Patron and lifetime member.
We encourage all aspects of writing from short stories, novels, articles, poetry, plays and even pantomime. We provide you with a forum to test out your ideas.
Guests are welcome to attend two meetings and to read their work (or have it read for them) at the second. If they then wish to join the Circle, the Committee will review and consider their application for membership.
In the first instance, if you’d like to come along to a meeting and perhaps become a member of the circle, please email secretary@worcesterwriters.org.uk
