We are the safe space for books and book lovers. We’re a bookshop, cafe, and event hub all in one place. Predominantly supporting indie authors and publishers, and specialising in esoteric titles and indie-bookshop exclusive and signed editions.

National Book Tokens are accepted in most bookshops – if you can’t find the ideal book in store, you can give the gift of choosing their own.
We sell and redeem National Book Tokens, and offer our own vouchers for all of our other gifts. Alternatively, drop us an email and we can order specific titles for you.

Whether you prefer paper or audio, we have the perfect read for you. As well as browsing our beautiful shelves, you can also shop online (and support indie bookshops all over the UK) – LibroFM and Spiracle offer ethical alternatives for audio books (Spiracle also offer audiobooks in a card) while Bookshop.org and Hive.co.uk supply physical books.
