Chloe Hanks is a poet based in York. Recipient of the V Press Prize for poetry in 2020, her debut pamphlet, May We All Be Artefacts was published by V Press in 2021 and followed by I Call Upon the Witches published by Sunday Mornings at the River in 2022. More recent work has appeared in Ink, Sweat & Tears, MODRON magazine, Porridge Magazine and Thicket from Fawn Press. She holds a PhD in Creative Writing from York St John University. As of 2026, she is the Poetry Representative for York Creatives, a bookseller for the Poetry Pharmacy and served as Festival Director for York Literature Festival.

Claire Walker’s poetry has been nominated for the Forward Prizes, and shortlisted for the Aesthetica Creative Writing Award. Her work is published in journals and anthologies including Poetry Wales, Poetry Birmingham Literary Journal, Aesthetica, and Ten Poems about Daughters (Candlestick Press). Her new pamphlet is How to Shape Our Mouths (Black Cat Poetry Press, 2026). Claire is co-editor of Atrium poetry webzine, and is currently studying for a Creative Writing MA at the University of Birmingham.
