Welcome to the opening night of the Alchemy of Words festival as we crown our first Worcestershire Literary Champion, presented by Staffordshire Poet Laureate Scarlett Ward.
The recipient of the award will be provided with unique opportunities to inspire new generations of readers and writers, showcasing the power of literacy and creative writing to change life stories and encourage a love of reading, writing, speaking and listening.
Scarlett Ward is the Staffordshire Poet Laureate 2024-26, but she is also a Workshop Facilitator, and founder and CEO of Fawn Press.
