Our festivals are designed to support and encourage local and independent authors, inspiring and entertaining all those who attend, as well as providing opportunities for residents and visitors to interact and engage with more established creatives. Contributions from our friends, benefactors and sponsors help us to curate a varied programme while keeping ticket prices affordable so as many people as possible can enjoy our unique annual event.
Our Festival Friends are passionate about the arts and understand the need to have a reliable source of funding. Their support helps to ensure our festivals’ programming is creative, dynamic and sustainable and continues to make a difference as we move forward into the future, helping us to invest in facilities and access for all, supporting our community outreach work in local schools and communities throughout the year.
During the year, there will be various opportunities for our Festival Friends to come together socially both within and outside of festival time, creating a community of Festival Friends who can aid our festival planning.
