By donating £2.50 you will be providing the gift of a cup of tea (or coffee) to our UK troops on deployment to say thanks and let them know they’re appreciated.
Your donation will go directly to the NAAFI, who will pick a random recipient and notify them they have received an MC, which can be used to purchase any food or beverage product that is offered in the NAAFI on base.
How much does this mean to our troops?
Immeasurable! My own son was on deployment on a US base and was a recipient of the American scheme ‘Cup of Joe for a Joe’ – the thought that someone miles away was thinking about the troops and cared enough to buy a cup of coffee to say thanks meant the world him, and to so many others serving in environments far away from home missing loved ones.
